Backpack Announcement

For your information and as a reminder, Plainwell Schools has new heightened security provisions across the district. One of these additions includes the elimination of backpacks, satchels, gym bags, over-sized purses and the like from high school classrooms, lunchroom, media center and common areas. Please be advised that these items should be kept in your locker. We prepared parents and students for this last year so this should not be new news, however, as a reminder we are doing everything we reasonably and financially can to keep us all safe. We know this will be a difficult change, but believe this is one of the best actions to take.

Backpacks pose a potential threat to the security and safety of PHS students and staff.  Thank you in advance for your support in keeping students safe.
