Congratulations to all of our new NJHS inductees!  We are very proud of you. Thank you to Mrs. Damick and Mrs. Noto Cassada for coordinating last night’s ceremony.

 

Good Luck to the 7th and 8th grade band students that are attending Solo & Ensemble Festival in Mendon tomorrow!

 

7th and 8th grade band students don't forget take your instrument and music home so that you have them for solo & ensemble tomorrow!

 

FRIDAY AM: 7th grade PRIDE students will be meeting in the hall outside of the Art room after 3rd hour.

 

TRACK:  there is an optional practice from 2:45 to 3:45 TODAY.

 

Today is the last all school party of the year. The cost is $4 and the party begins right after school and goes until 4 PM. You must have a ride pick you up right at 4 PM as you will not be able to stay in the school once the party is over.

 

Reminder to all students: before the morning bell you are ONLY to be in the lobby or walking circuit! You may not go anywhere else without a pass.


 

The cereal drive is still going on, so please keep bringing in your cereal boxes.  

 

LATER DAYS - Don’t forget to be bringing in those boxes of Lucky Charms, Frosted Flakes, and Fruit Loops to help give breakfast to our community this summer!

 

THURSDAY (4/25) - Tomorrow is the last day to bring in your cereal boxes!  Take one last run to the store tonight to pick up your favorite cereals, and bring them to your first hour class tomorrow.

 

 

 

 

Students, just a reminder lunches are Chromebook free zones.  Chromebooks should not be brought to the cafeteria or to the ESC during the lunches  Also, school email is for school purposes only and if you are customizing the background of your Chromebook, make sure those pictures are school appropriate.

 

There is information in the office about Tae Kwon Do.

 

Information is available in the office on summer camps sponsored by the Plainwell Aviation and STEM Academy.

TRACK PRACTICE: after school today from 11:15 to 12:15

Just a reminder, today is a half day.

8th graders, you will not need your Chromebooks today since you will be at the PAC to watch the first act of High School Musical.  Please leave your cell phones and Air Pods in your lockers, you will not need them in the PAC.

 

Congratulations to all of our Bridge Building Teams, we are so proud of you!  We had two teams place in the top 3. The Finishers took first place, this team consists of Thai Nguyen, Matthew Prentice-Sau, Tyler Pruess, and Nick Rachel. The Legendary Squad, took 3rd place, this team consists of Luke Johnson, Richard Ritzema, and Logan Tungate.   This is such a great accomplishment. Our other competitors were Between the Bridges - Ava Erickson, Kallie Rooseboom, and Natalie Somers, Nerd - Herd - Raya Mergen - Henry, Jonathan Elliot, and Justin Carpenter, and Taco Turtles 2.0 - Nikki Faupel, Sophie Cox, and Laken Whittington. A big thank you to Mr. Fisher for guiding our teams through this year´s process.

Reminder to all students: before the morning bell you are ONLY to be in the lobby or walking circuit! You may not go anywhere else without a pass.

 

MONDAY (4/8) - Student Council is teaming up with the Allegan County Food Pantry to help make sure our community members all have access to breakfast this summer!  Starting today, please bring in your new cereal boxes to your first hour teachers to be counted. Our goal is to collect 25,000 boxes of cereal - one box of cereal for every week of summer vacation!

We will be bringing in cereal during the month of April.  Please bring them into your 1st hour teachers!
