  • 8th Grade Choir Kicks Off Concert Season

  • Robotics Team In Grandville

Congratulations to both PMS Robotics Teams! This weekend they competed in their first VEX competition of the season and one of their two teams finish the qualification round in 6th place. Both teams were able to play in the quarterfinal. They were awarded the Team Spirit award for the tournament and were all out awesome!!

  • MI Exploration Make Cakes As Examples

Teacher Jason Herbert taught his Michigan Exploration students about the Michigan Basin (a geological term for the process that gave Michigan three times as many rock layers beneath the soil than the Grand Canyon) and then challenged them to mimic the phenomenon with layer cakes. The students got creative, had fun and learned something.

  • Exploring Close To Home

Mr. Herbert's Michigan Exploration classes at Plainwell Middle School enjoyed the break in weather to go outside the school to appreciate and document all the nature on their own campus. From insects and flowers to found objects and feathers, they got a lot of good time to enjoy the things often overlooked.

  • Office Sextuplets!

Spirit week is not just for students! Look what happens when the adults get in on the act for Twins Day!

  • Community Support

Thanks to our friends at Friendship Wesleyan Church for all their hard work to clean up the Middle School courtyard!

  • 8th Grade Band Prepares For High School Game

  • Going Zero Waste Receives Grant!

The Going Zero Waste Project kicked off this spring will get more life this fall with a generous grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

  • The Sky Is the Limit!

STEM students get a chance to fly airplanes each spring. It's a tradition they all look forward to.

  • Thanks Midway Chevrolet!

A big thanks to Bryan Belden of Midway Chevrolet for sponsoring the annual art scholarship contest. The student works were on display at the dealership and the top three winners in each grade (6th-8th) received Visa Gift Cards. In addition, Belden awarded the PMS Art Department with a $500 check. We appreciate Midways continued support of our students and schools.
