Daily Announcements

November 13, 2019

Today is World Kindness Day, this  is an international holiday that was formed in 1998, to promote kindness throughout the world and is observed annually on November 13 as part of the World Kindness Movement.  Fill this day with large and small acts of kindness.

Students, we will be going out during lunch as long as wind chills are above zero.  Please make sure to bring your coats, gloves, boots etc. to lunch if you plan on going outside.  Also, we know that it is tempting to throw the snow, but the snow needs to stay on the ground.

Friday, November 15th, we will have our first all school party of the year.  Admission is $4, there will be food, dancing, open gym, and swimming. The party is from 2:30 to 4:00 and you must make arrangements for a ride home.

Parents - Sign up for Fall 2019 All School Party PMS ( https://signup.com/go/WEYzAxT ) on @SignUpdotcom today!

Students, please, please, check the lost and found tables in the main lobby in front of the trophy case!  All items not claimed by the end of the first trimester will be donated.

We are participating in the Blanket Drive again this year.  Samuel’s goal is to collect 3000 blankets and 150 sleeping bags to help the homeless. You can drop off a new blanket or sleeping bag in the box in the office.

Tuesday and Thursday:  Students, if you are planning on staying for 7th hour and you ride the Kangaroo bus, you may only sign up in the office since there are only 3 seats available on the 7th hour bus for this route.  Also, if you are riding home on the Kangaroo bus during 7th hour, you may not bring any large instruments on the bus because space is limited.

Through November 22nd: Registration for Plainwell Middle School Ski Club @ Timber Ridge is available online via RevTrak through Sunday, November 24.

October - end of November: Information is in the office for the Bittersweet Student Ski Club Program.

7th & 8th graders, please remember, the 6th grade academy is for 6th graders only until 5th hour.

Students, just a reminder phones need to be off and out of site during the school day, if we see them, we take them.
