FAFSA Workshops


With assistance from knowledgeable volunteers, get help completing and submitting the FAFSA. Individuals planning to attend college during the 2019-20 school year use 2017 tax information and submit the FAFSA this Fall. Most unmarried individuals born after January 1, 1996 who have no dependents must include their parents’ household financial information in the application. Workshops will be held at the Allegan Tech Center - 2891 116th Avenue, Allegan, MI 49010.

  • FAFSA Workshop: Monday, October 15 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • FAFSA Workshop: Wednesday, October 17 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
  • FAFSA Workshop: Saturday, October 20 9:00 a.m. – Noon


In order to complete the FAFSA, please bring the following items with you if possible:
o Your FSA ID
o Your Social Security Number
o Your Parent or Legal Guardian’s Social Security Number (If you are 23 or younger and a dependent)
o Your Driver’s License
o Your W-2 Forms or Others Records of Money Earned
o Your 2017 Federal Income Tax Returns
o Your Spouse’s 2017 Income Tax Return (if married)
o Your Parent’s 2017 Federal Income Tax Return
o Your 2017 Untaxed Income Records – Social Security, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Welfare, or Veterans Benefits Records (if any)
o Your 2017 Bank Statements
o Your 2017 Business and Investment Mortgage Information, Business, and Farm Records, Stocks, Bonds, and Other Investment Records
o Your Alien Registration Card (if you are not a U.S. Citizen)
