Exploration & Support Center (ESC)
The Exploration and Support Center (ESC) at the Plainwell Middle School is a place for learning, creativity, team building and making new friends.
The Library has been redesigned into an ESC Creativity playground. There are up to 150 students per day visiting our program. By using their imaginations students are able to build creative structures with the use of Legos, Blocks, Erector sets and K’nex . This allows them to increase creativity and to work collaboratively as a team.
The ESC has many learning games and students also have the opportunity to explore the many educational websites Plainwell Middle School has to offer. In addition this gives students the opportunity to finish classroom assignments . The ESC also provides an after school homework space for students that don't have internet at home.
As our building changes during construction the ESC will continue to provide learning and team building opportunities for our Plainwell Students.
