SON DAY: Community Education is offering an evening of Sons and Magic for students K-6. Sons and their chaperones will be treated to a magic show with the very successful, funny and sly magician, Brian Penny. The themed photo booth, balloon artist, Scoop the Balloonatic and tricks and treats throughout the event are sure to create what sons will remember as their special day! GIRLS BASKETBALL SKILLS CAMP: This past weekend, we wrapped up the Girls Basketball Skills Camp for 1st-8th grade girls. It was a great camp hosted by the PHS Coaching Staff and players. What a great opportunity for our young Trojans to learn all about the game of basketball.
CINDERELLA BEGINS TONIGHT: We are just a few hours away from opening night at the 2022 PHS Spring Musical “Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella". The cast and crew have done an outstanding job preparing for the show and we can’t wait to see them live on stage beginning this evening!

BATTLE OF THE BOOKS CHAMPS: Congratulations to the 2022 Battle of the Books 📚 Champions - The Magic Pirate Readers - from Cooper Elementary. It was a great day of competition and we are so proud of all of the participants for their hard work and outstanding teamwork today! Congratulations to the winning team - way to go, Koalas!

BATTLE OF THE BOOKS: The 2022 Battle of the Books team competition is only 2 DAYS AWAY on Saturday, February 26! We have some awesome competitors from Starr, Gilkey and Cooper Elementary Schools who are ready to work as a team on Saturday morning to compete to be the 2022 Battle of the Books champions. The teams have worked hard reading and studying seven books over the last few months and are now ready for competition. Wishing all the teams and coaches the best of luck and congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and dedication to preparing for this special day! Plainwell pride!

PCS ROBOTICS: Congratulations Team Robo Gamers for winning the Jenison Robotics VRC HS Only Invitational Late Season Tipping Point Tournament today (Saturday, February 5). Freshman Danielle Klein, Elliot Cassada, Jordan Bessler-Bly and Fiona Murray placed 3rd after 7 qualifying matches. They were invited to join the 1st place alliance captained by the RoboHawks from Fennville for the playoff rounds where they outscored the 2nd place alliance 107-90 in the championship match. Both teams in the winning alliance have now qualified for the Michigan High School VEX Robotics Championship Tournament to be held Sunday, February 27 at Kettering University. The Robo Gamers were also presented with the Skills Award for achieving the highest Skills score among all teams — 272 points, a new record for them! The Robo Gamers are coached by Dan Klein.
