Registration is open for the 2026 Rocket, Flag and Pee Wee Football programs, as well as the 2026 K-6th Grade Rocket Camp. All programs provide an introduction to Plainwell's football program with an emphasis on learning skills while having fun.
🏈 Rocket Football: The Rocket Football program is open to 3rd-6th grade athletes (must be 8 years old by 9/1/26). Practice begins August 17, with Saturday games beginning September 12. Cost is $100 per athlete (includes jersey)
🏈 Flag Football: The Flag Football program is open to 1st and 2nd grade athletes (based on grade in fall 2026). Two practices a week begin August 24 with six Saturday games. Cost is $75 per athlete (includes jersey t-shirt)
🏈 Pee Wee: The Pee Wee Football program is open to Kindergarten athletes (based on grade in fall 2026). Two practices a week begin August 24 with six Saturday games. Cost is $75 per athlete (includes jersey t-shirt)
🏈 K-6th Grade Rocket Football Camp: The Rocket Football Camp is open to K-6th Grade athletes (based on grade in fall 2026). Camp will be held on July 29 and 30 at Streidl Field. Cost is $35 per athlete (includes t-shirt, must register by 7/12 to guarantee a t-shirt)

Join us this summer for our 2026 Summer Kickball program for 9-12 year old students. Program will run from May 27-July 1. Each game will be a double-header, for a total of 6-8 games during the season. Weekly games will alternate between Otsego & Plainwell, days and times TBD. Register today to join us at PCS on Saturday, May 2 for a Boater Safety program through Allegan County! The class will be held at Plainwell Middle School from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. All registrations must be submitted through the DNR website at https://michigan.storefront.kalkomey.com/em/programs/9. There is no cost and while there is no minimum age, anyone under 10 must have a parent or guardian with them.

Be sure to mark your calendars for dinner on the day we return from Spring Break at Plainwell Pizza Hut, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A portion of all sales will support our fantastic Robotics program.

Registration is open for an upcoming 5th-8th Grade Springboard Diving Clinic for novice divers. Learn to dive, flip and jump while having fun! Participants must be able to swim in 12 feet of water and one length of the pool. The clinic is coached by Aidan Ranger and will be held on Monday evenings in May from 6:00-7:00 PM. Cost is $40 per athlete.

We were excited to welcome the 2026/27 Kindergarten & Young 5 students at our first Round-up last night at Cooper Elementary! It was a fun event as we welcomed the newest Koalas, who had the chance to meet the Cooper staff, tour the building and a bus and discover all the wonderful opportunities at Cooper! 🐨

Students at Cooper had a fun adventure for St. Patrick’s Day when the office staff hid 100 gnome leprechauns around the school. Once students found a leprechaun they turned it in to the office for a gold chocolate coin. This made for lots of fun for the Koalas! 💚🐨💚
Join us this summer for our Youthball program for PCS students, ages 5-8. With the focus of the program on recreation and to learn the fundamentals of the game, our Summer Youthball program is just the beginning for many of our Trojan baseball and softball players.
