Special thanks to the PCS Operations Department for making the district sparkle this holiday season! Your hard work is greatly appreciated! ❤️🎄❤️

Throughout the district, students brought in donations to support the 2023 Plainwell Volunteer Christmas Project. At Cooper, they celebrated their top donating class, Ms. Wright’s fifth graders, with a donut in party. As a class, they brought in 471 items for the food drive, which was the most in Cooper’s upper elementary. Way to go, Koalas!

As a reminder, we have some important calendar dates to note:
HALF DAY: There is a half day of school tomorrow (Friday, December 22)
WINTER HOLIDAY BREAK: There is no school from December 25-January 5
We wish our students, staff and families a wonderful Winter Holiday Break. Go Trojans!

Who doesn't love a great holiday tradition?! It was great fun at Gilkey, Cooper and Starr Elementary Schools as the Middle and High School Choirs performed for the students at their annual holiday caroling tour throughout the district. This annual caroling event includes a number of holiday classic songs, as well as a few new favorites...including a special appearance from "Olaf". It is always a favorite for all the students and staff involved, the smiles were priceless!

The holiday fun continues throughout our elementary buildings. From Candy Cane Day, to Pajama Day to dress like the Grinch Day, our students are excited to show their holiday spirit before Winter Holiday Break. We ❤️ all the joy and smiles it brings to our students!

Special thanks to the Otsego VFW who stopped by to visit the Cooper Elementary 1st graders yesterday. They delivered patriotic stockings and together recited the Pledge of Allegiance. 💙❤️ What a special time for the Cooper Koalas!

Our elementary students loved the wintery weather today, they had so much fun building snowman and playing in the snow during recess! ❄️☃️

The Kickers Indoor Soccer Program wrapped up their 2023 season. They had over 100 players that ranged from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Special thanks to Dave Nobel, Ryan Beauregard, Doug Beauregard and all of the other volunteers that helped with another successful indoor season for the Kickers! ⚽️🥅

Throughout the district, the elementary students are having lots of fun with various dress up days! From Frosty’s Fun Day to Tinsel Tuesday to Bright Lights Day, our students are spreading joy and being festive leading up to the holidays.
