Another outstanding evening at the Performing Arts Center, this time featuring the Cooper Koalas! Last night, Cooper Elementary's 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes performed at their "It's Almost Too Early for Christmas" Holiday Concert. It was an outstanding show filled with festive songs and lots of holiday fun! Great job, Koalas!

As a reminder, we have some important calendar dates to note. There are half days of school Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17 (end of the first trimester). Also, there is no school from Monday, November 20-Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving Break. We wish our students, staff, families and community a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. Go Trojans!

The Plainwell Robotics Club competed in very active and equally successful tournaments this past weekend. Many students and coaches were participating in their first tournament and several teams won awards.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL: The Plainwell Robotics Club sponsored two tournaments at PHS which included 20 Middle School VEX Robotics teams from across southern and western Michigan on Saturday and 23 High School teams on Sunday. From PCS, 18 of our 24 Middle and High School teams competed and received 7 awards collectively. Way to go, Trojans!
ELEMENTARY: The action was not limited to our Middle and High School students, as three of our nine Elementary School teams also competed at a VEX IQ Tournament in Hudsonville. This was a first for many of the 4th and 5th grade students and their coaches. Congratulations to Elementary teams: Cobra, Ditto Ms and Koalabots on a great competition.

What an amazing performance at opening night of PHS’ production of Clue! One show remains at the Performing Arts Center. Join us tonight (Saturday, November 11) at 7 PM. Registration is still open for the PCS Hoopsters Basketball program for PCS 3-5th grade students, please register on RevTrak by Monday, November 13 at midnight! Hoopsters Basketball is the official developmental league for the Plainwell Trojans Basketball Program. Hoopsters is a 3 v 3 league that is organized as a way to develop the skills necessary for youth basketball players to compete at the next level while keeping fun at the center of every player’s experience. The Cooper students in Young 5's and Kindergarten had a field trip to Gull Meadow Farms yesterday. They had a great fall day while enjoying picking apples and exploring the farm. 🍏🐨🍎
The Cooper Monster Mash was so much fun! It was an awesome outdoor evening for a costume party as families enjoyed trick or treating, food trucks, games and lots of Halloween fun!
The Young Five students at Cooper Elementary took advantage of the beautiful weather yesterday and enjoyed a nature walk to collect leaves! Next up, they will be using the leaves to sort by various attributes, will make patterns and solve simple addition/subtraction story problems. 🍁🍂🍁

Join us for the Starr Parents Association Fall Carnival TOMORROW (Saturday, October 21) to enjoy food trucks, fun & games, raffles, a silent auction, fall treats, local vendors and much more! The Carnival will be held from 12:00-3:00 PM at Starr Elementary! It’s School Bus Safety Week and we couldn’t end the week without recognizing our amazing transportation team! We are excited to welcome back the Mother/Son Hockey Night as the Kalamazoo Wings take on the Allen Americans in the 40th Annual Green Ice Game on Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 PM. Mothers and sons will enjoy the game, a $5 concession voucher, a FREE knit hat and a voucher for a FREE game of bowling at Airway Fun Center!
