Students from Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Kordupel’s 3rd grade classes at Cooper Elementary had a great Little Dreamers field trip before Thanksgiving Break. They explored downtown Allegan and enjoyed a performance at the Gridwold. It was a wonderful day filled with educational fun for the 3rd grade Koalas.

The Junior Spikers program concluded this weekend. Designed for girls in grades 3-5, this program emphasizes fun and skill development. They wrapped up the season with an exciting parent versus player game! Additionally, each player received a medal to celebrate their hard work throughout the season! 🏐

Thanksgiving traditions are so much fun! Yesterday, Cooper Elementary held their annual Pie Day. At the event, Mrs. Keorkunian (principal), read a Thanksgiving story over the intercom while students and staff shared pumpkin pie at a makeshift "table." It was a wonderful and meaningful way for the Koalas to come together and celebrate Thanksgiving.

As a reminder, there is no school from Monday, November 25-Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving Break. We look forward to welcoming our students back to school on Monday, December 2.
We wish our students, staff and families a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

The Young 5 students at Cooper Elementary have been keeping busy this fall. In math and science, they have been working on a unit with pumpkins and leaves. This unit introduced them to lessons in counting, sorting, patterning, graphing and measuring! Additionally, the students have become familiar with all the Alpha Friends (letters and sounds). To celebrate their achievement, they recently enjoyed reading the story “Chica Chica Boom Boom,” creating alphabet crowns and eating ABC “SpaghettiOs”! Keep working hard, Koalas, we are proud of you!
