This program brings together local farmers and school districts to provide healthy, locally grown options for our students. It was a great afternoon at the 2023 Renaissance Thanksgiving Feast. This event is a great opportunity for the RHS students, staff and Community partners to come together to celebrate and give thanks. Special thanks to all that participated to make this such a great event for the RHS Rebels.
As a reminder, we have some important calendar dates to note. There are half days of school Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17 (end of the first trimester). Also, there is no school from Monday, November 20-Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving Break. We wish our students, staff, families and community a wonderful Thanksgiving Break. Go Trojans!
Lots of recent excitement and updates from Renaissance High School. The RHS Rebels have being keeping busy by giving back and finding new learning opportunities!
- Veterans Cards: RHS students made cards for Veterans Day. The cards were distributed to local veterans.
- Library: The RHS Rebels have been taking field trips to the library so that students can get a library card, learn more about resources and check out books to use in their English classes.
- Gone Boarding: Beginning in the 2nd trimester Mike MacQueen will be piloting the Gone Boarding program with ten of the RHS students. It's a project-based learning program which results in the creation of a longboard.
What an amazing performance at opening night of PHS’ production of Clue! One show remains at the Performing Arts Center. Join us tonight (Saturday, November 11) at 7 PM. It’s almost showtime! Tickets are still available for PHS’ production of Clue on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11. Both shows are at 7:00 PM at the Plainwell Performing Arts Center. General admission seats are available for $5 each by scanning the QR code.

It’s School Bus Safety Week and we couldn’t end the week without recognizing our amazing transportation team! We are so grateful for our bus drivers, who work hard each day to provide safe transportation for our students! The parade is on! Join us today (10/13) to support PHS and cheer on the Trojans at their 2023 Homecoming Parade beginning at 1:20 PM. Parade begins at PHS. Students, staff, PCS families and the community are welcome to join us for the parade to celebrate Homecoming Spirit Week and to cheer on the Trojans prior to their football game against Niles at 7 PM.
