GIVING BACK: Over the last few weeks, the school buildings throughout the district participated in collecting items for the Plainwell Volunteer Christmas Project. Thank you to all that donated to help make this a successful project for families in our community!
In the Middle School, the Student Council coordinated loading up the donations to deliver to the Christmas Project and the National Junior Honor Society helped sort and package the donations to deliver to families. It was amazing to see our students come together to lend a hand during the holiday season - Trojan Pride!

8TH GRADE VARIETY SHOW: Mark your calendar to join the 8th Grade Band and Choir for their Holiday Variety Show next Thursday, December 9 at 7 PM at the Performing Arts Center. Limited attendance of two people per student is encouraged. The concert will be live streamed for those that are unable to attend.
LIGHT UP THE NIGHT: The PHS Honors Choir did an outstanding job performing at the City of Plainwell’s Light Up the Night event this evening! Great job to these Trojans for bringing some beautiful music to this fun and festive evening in our amazing community. Plainwell pride!

GIRLS BASKETBALL GAMES CANCELED: The Freshman, JV and Varsity Girls Basketball games vs. Vicksburg High School have been canceled tonight. The Holiday Giveback that was planned for this evening has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 7 at the Boy's Basketball Game vs. Pennfield High School.
GIRLS BASKETBALL HOLIDAY GIVEBACK TONIGHT: As a reminder, join the PHS Girls Basketball team this evening (12/3) at their season opening basketball game to support their Holiday Giveback. As a team, they will be collecting monetary donations to sponsor families in our community this holiday season. The goal is to provide families with a full Christmas dinner and gifts under their tree. Please see a Girls Basketball player or coach for more information! Go Trojans!
SPECTRUM CONCERT: We are just TWO WEEKS away from the 2021 Holiday Spectrum Concert. Tickets are still available for the concert which takes place on Thursday, December 16 at 7 PM at the Performing Arts Center. COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC: The Allegan County Health Department (ACHD) is offering a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Starr Elementary School next week. The clinic is scheduled for Thursday, December 9 from 5-7:30 PM at Starr’s Gymnasium at 601 School Drive, Plainwell. PLAINWELL VOLUNTEER CHRISTMAS PROJECT: The 2021 Plainwell Volunteer Christmas Project is underway and there are several ways to donate through December 17. PCS CLOSURE REMINDERS: As we communicated last week, Plainwell Community Schools is closed this week from November 22-26. This closure includes VoTech, as well as all athletic and extra curricular activities. The NHS ceremony that was originally scheduled for this week has also been canceled.
