On May 7, 2024, PCS will be pursuing a new bond proposal to continue to improve our facilities and offer the best educational experience possible for our students, families and staff. This bond will support 42 million in new projects and allow the completion of current projects that have seen significant cost increases due to inflation. NO TAX RATE INCREASE - if approved by voters, there is to be no tax rate increase expected over the current tax rate.
The bond will focus on five key areas:
- Safety & Security
- New Early Childhood Center
- Gym Additions
- Replacement Tennis Courts
- Completing Current Projects
For more information on the 2024 Bond, details on the proposed projects and FAQs, please visit plainwellschools.org/page/2024-bond. For questions, please contact Superintendent Matthew Montange at matthew.montange@plainwellschools.org.

The Young Fives from Cooper Elementary had so much fun yesterday! They celebrated Valentines with graphing fruit snack hearts, using beads to make a pattern on a heart, counting and stacking candy hearts, creating hearts and other shapes with marshmallows and decorating heart cookies. It was a day full of fun learning festivities!

Students in Ms. Adams’ 3rd grade class at Cooper Elementary made and delivered valentines to Alamo Nursing Home today. Their mission for the morning was to “spread joy.” Way to go, Koalas! ❤️

To celebrate the 101st day of school Mrs. Gonyeau’s first grade class at Starr Elementary incorporated fun into many different subject areas. Students made dalmatian headbands, they listened to a story, wrote about dalmatians, they rolled dice 101 times to tally which numbers had the most and least amount, they did jumping jacks/other exercises for 101 seconds and they played a listening game called "Doggie Doggie Where's Your Bone!" It was a great day of fun and learning for these Rock Starrs!

The Kindergarteners at Gilkey Elementary are learning about different types of measurement. Yesterday, they were exploring weight by taking time to explore and compare the weight of different objects in their classroom. Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders!

Ms. Hansen’s Kindergarten class at Starr Elementary had lots of fun while learning at their 100 Days Brighter Celebration.
