The Trojan Aquatic Club (TAC) registration and tryout event that was originally scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 30 from 5:30-6:30 PM.

We are excited to share the Plainwell Middle School Students of the Week! We are proud of your hard work and dedication. Way to go, Trojans!
Nyra (8th Grade): Nyra is not only a fabulous student, but she is very kind, respectful and helpful to her fellow classmates. When working in pairs, she helps them with understanding the material and also with pronunciation of vocabulary. It has been an absolute pleasure to have her in my Spanish class!
Addisyn (7th Grade): Addisyn is a thoughtful, caring and kind citizen in the class. She always greets me with a smile and "Hello!" followed by a genuine inquiry of my well-being. Addisyn always takes care to complete her work, asks questions when she needs assistance, participates in class discussion and activities, and seeks out extension activities. She regularly shares about thoughtful things that she selflessly does for her friends and about how she helps out at home. Addisyn is a role model to others and a pleasure to have in class!
Nicholas (6th Grade): Nicholas is a thoughtful citizen in the classroom. He always listens intently, begins his work right away, and asks questions when needed. Nicholas regularly participates in class discussion and eagerly shares about his makerspace-type projects that he completes outside of school. When a classmate is in need of help, Nicholas readily offers his assistance and then returns to his work. I appreciate his willingness to accept and apply feedback, his responsible conduct in the classroom and his fascination for learning!
Throughout the year, we look forward to continuing to share our outstanding Middle School Students of the Week! GO TROJANS!
Special thanks to our Student of the Month sponsors: Fly Inn, Mayor's Joint, Barbed Wire Cafe and Taqueria San Francisco. We greatly appreciate your support of PCS and our students - Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders!

Over Thanksgiving Break, seven AP French students, along with Ms. Trahan and Mr. Fitz took a trip to Québec. During the trip, the students expanded their knowledge of the language and culture of Québec where they received several compliments on their French during conversations with the locals. They visited Ottawa (Canada's Capital) where they explored the city, walked around the Parliament building and stopped at a pâtisserie for breakfast before heading to Québec City. In Québec, they explored the city while visiting the Cathedral Sainte Anne de Beaupré, Montmorency Falls (the tallest falls in North America) and the Huron Wendat Museum where students learned about the native history, culture and ways of life. They then went to Montréal where they toured the Notre Dame Basilica, Old Montréal and downtown shops. What an amazing experience for these PHS AP French students - Today's Learners, Tomorrow's Leaders!

Thanksgiving traditions are so much fun! Prior to Break, Cooper Elementary celebrated Thanksgiving in a special way at their second annual Pie Day. During the event, Mrs. Keorkunian (principal) read a Thanksgiving book over the intercom while the students and staff enjoyed pumpkin pie together at a makeshift "table". It was so much fun and a special way for the Koalas to celebrate Thanksgiving together.
