A $5 dollar donation (if possible) is requested for each person that will be attending the concert. We hope to see you at the event TONIGHT!

COOPER DUDES: We would like to recognize an incredible group of dads (Mr. Preuninger, Mr. Larsen, Mr. Torres and Mr. Hall) at Cooper Elementary, called the Cooper Dudes! This group visits the elementary each week to eat lunch and play outside at recess…they have a blast, but are also great role models for the Koala students! At recess they practice good sportsmanship and cooperation. Thank you “dudes” for being a part of the Cooper Village and taking time out from your very busy schedules to support Today’s Learners & Tomorrow’s Leaders! Plainwell Pride!

HALF DAY REMINDER: As a reminder, we have a half day of school tomorrow (Wednesday, April 27).
Have a great day and Go Trojans!

HONORING MR. ROUSH: To honor beloved fifth grade Starr Elementary teacher, Mr. Tim Roush, Maddie Jeffreys from PHS painted a beautiful mural in the hallway at Starr. What an amazing representation of what Mr. Roush loved so dearly - rocket science!
Save the date to join us at a memorial event to honor Mr. Roush on Friday, May 20. The event will begin with a rocket launch (weather dependent - rain date 6/3) at 2:30 PM at the PHS track. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the Performing Arts Center (will run as scheduled regardless of weather).

CEREAL DRIVE: Over the past few weeks, PCS has been participating in the 7th Annual Allegan County Cereal Drive. Several of our buildings are participating and have come up with creative ways to encourage students to donate. Mrs. Mudget’s kindergarten class at Starr was one of the first classrooms in their building to donate 10 cereal boxes and won a dress up day. Their class decided on an “anything” dress up day! What a fun way to celebrate giving back to the communities in our county. Interested in donating? Collection boxes are located in buildings throughout the district through April 30.

PLAY-AND-LEARN TOMORROW: Join us for our monthly Play-and-Learn program for parents and children ages birth to five years tomorrow (Thursday, April 21) from 10-11 AM at Ransom District Library! They found enough to fill almost 12 bags - way to go Geckos!
