Our youngest Trojans in Ms. Mudget’s Young 5 class at Cooper Elementary are making connections and having fun as they begin their educational journey at PCS.

The PHS Tennis Match that was scheduled for today (Wednesday, September 6) at Sturgis has been canceled. Please note that tennis practice is still on!
Students in Ms. Cole’s 4th grade class at Starr Elementary had some fun while being creative. Cole’s Crew created warm fuzzies during a break from learning as a reminder to show kindness to others. Kindness is contagious!
The PHS Boys Varsity Tennis Team traveled to South Haven yesterday, congratulations to the following players who brought home a win:
- Number 1 Doubles: Andrew Hampton and Teagen Wilson
- Number 2 Doubles: Bradley Jeffreys and Austin Susens
- Number 3 Doubles: Anthony Kolhoff and Brayden Triemstra
- Number 4 Doubles: Lincoln Benson and Sean MacRitchie
Next up, they will travel to Sturgis. Way to go, Trojans!
We are excited to introduce our Lifelong Learners program at PCS! This program is available to Plainwell and Otsego community senior citizens who are looking to get involved and active in our community! We will offer a number of events throughout the year, so please stay tuned for more information. This Fall Kickoff event will include food & fun, a tour of Christian Neighbors, volunteer opportunities and much more! It was a great first week at PCS! At the Middle School, teachers had their students work on several team building activities to help build strong relationships. It’s great to be a Trojan!

Registration closes today (8/31) for our upcoming Love and Logic Parenting Classes! These classes are available to any PCS family (present or future) at the Plainwell Performing Arts Center. Class will run for six weeks on Thursday evenings (September 14, 21, 28 and October 5, 12, 19). Childcare will be provided. Cost is $10 (per workbook). Attention Trojan Football Fans - we have a few game updates!
1. The PHS Freshman Football game that was scheduled for today (8/25) at Hamilton HS has been canceled.
2. The PHS Varsity Football game that was scheduled for last night against Hamilton HS has been rescheduled for TODAY (8/25). To accommodate schedules and officials, the game will be played AT Hamilton High School at 4:00 PM. Good luck and GO TROJANS!
3. For those that purchased tickets for the Varsity Home Football game against Hamilton HS last night, we have requested a refund for tickets purchased through Hometown ticketing. All tickets purchased for the 8/24 game will be refunded, the refund process may take 3-5 days. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
