Girls in 5th-8th grade (grade athlete will be in the fall) are invited to join us from June 19-22 from 5:30-8:30 PM for a Girls Soccer Camp coached by PHS Varsity Head Coach, Garry Snyder. SUMMER OUTINGS: Students in grades 3- 8 are invited to join us for a summer of fun while attending Plainwell Summer Outings with weekly adventures from June 26-30 and July 17-21. There are two exciting programs to choose from with five fun summer outings each. The cost is $200 per person/per program. Four students in Mrs. Gonyeau's first grade class at Starr Elementary finished the school year as Super Improvers. Throughout the year they earned stars based on academics, behavior, overcoming a difficulty socially or emotionally, and perseverance. Once each student earned ten stars, they move up the "Super Improver" ladder! There are 10 levels starting with "Beginner" and working all the way up to "Living Legends!" These students made it all the way to the top of the ladder and were named Super Improver “Living Legends”. Way to go, Rock Starrs!
The PHS Varsity Soccer team’s amazing season ended tonight with a 1-2 loss to East Grand Rapids HS in the State Semifinals. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication this season. They played an amazing game, representing Plainwell with great TROJAN PRIDE! From all of us at PCS, congratulations on an OUTSTANDING season, Trojans! ⚽️💙

At least 30 students and several staff from Plainwell Community Schools volunteered at Island City Festival this weekend. Students wore costumes and greeted festival goers, picked up trash, helped when needed and worked the parking lot to earn money for various non-profits and school groups. They had a lot of fun! Thanks to the hard workers behind Island City Festival for the opportunity!

The Cooper 5th Graders had a great Celebration on Wednesday evening. It was a special event to recognize all their achievements while at Cooper and celebrate them as they prepare for Middle School in the Fall. Way to go, Koalas!

This week the Plainwell Middle School ECO Club met for their final meeting of the year. Students painted handprints on patio stones in the courtyard, finished setting up the irrigation system and planted herbs in the garden. In addition each student got to plant and take home their own indoor starter plants. Special thanks to Mrs. Sponsler-Andrasi, Ms. Colhurst and Mrs. Oostdyk for all their hard work with the ECO Club this year! Plainwell Pride!

The Starr Elementary students ROCKED at their recent Starr Strut fundraiser and won a glow party! It was such a fun day as classes enjoyed face painting, various games, singing and dancing. Way to go, Rock Starrs!

The PHS Cheer team is having a special fundraiser this Sunday, June 11 and there are five spots remaining! Help support the cheer team at their Photography Session Fundraiser as Gregersen Photography will offer micro-photography sessions at the Plainwell Paper Mill. Each 10 minute session for families and/or children are held from 8:05-8:30 PM and include five printable images. A minimum $50 donation (or more) will go to support the Plainwell Cheer Team!
