This week, PHS LINKS and LINKS II students got together with their matches for a holiday celebration! LINKS is a Peer-to-Peer support program designed to bring students together to support each other throughout the school year. During their holiday celebration they played fun games, ate great holiday snacks (including Mr. Lindstrom’s incredible English Toffee) and enjoyed each other’s company. 🎄

Who doesn't love a great holiday tradition?! It was great fun at Gilkey, Cooper and Starr Elementary Schools as the Middle and High School Choirs performed for the students at their annual holiday caroling tour throughout the district. This annual caroling event includes a number of holiday classic songs, as well as a few new favorites...including a special appearance from "Olaf". It is always a favorite for all the students and staff involved, the smiles were priceless!

The PHS Multicultural Club had the opportunity to attend the Holiday Traditions Around the World at Frederik Meijer Gardens. The students recognized that cultures worldwide celebrate traditions and holidays in similar, but different ways. Some of the students from other countries had a chance to share their holiday traditions with other students. They also viewed a film highlighting several locally celebrated traditions. To end the night, they all enjoyed a Hibachi dinner together. What a great experience for these Trojans!
