PHS VOLLEYBALL: Congratulations to the Freshman, JV and Varsity Volleyball teams as they swept Vicksburg last night. The Freshman team overcame a large early deficit to win the first set then completed their sweep. The JV team played well in winning their match in three games and the Varsity rallied to win their first set 26-24 before completing their win in straight sets. Up next, the JV team will compete at the Ottawa Hills Invitational and Varsity will be at Wayland for the Wildcat Invitational. The Freshmen team resumes action in a home quad on Monday. OPERATING MILLAGE PROPOSAL: On November 8, 2022, Plainwell Community Schools’ voters will have the opportunity to vote on an Operating Millage "Headlee override" Proposal which would allow the district to continue to collect the full 18 mills voters approved at the May 2014 election. 2022 HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME: What an awesome night at the 2022 PHS Homecoming Football Game! Highlights include: an outstanding performance of the national anthem by the PHS choir, a hard played game by the PHS varsity football team that went into overtime, an exceptional halftime show by the marching band, an awesome cheerleading squad to cheer on the Trojans, a stadium full of school spirit, the announcement of the 2022 Homecoming Court and the crowning of the 2022 Homecoming King and Queen. A special congratulations to Isabelle DeLaet and Dane Jorgensen on becoming the 2022 Homecoming King and Queen!
The Trojans came up a little short in overtime with a 28-21 loss to Niles, but it was still a great night with lots of Trojan pride! Way to go, Trojans!

2022 HOMECOMING PARADE: Join us today (9/30) to support PHS and cheer on the Trojans at the 2022 Homecoming Parade beginning at 1:20 PM. Students, staff, PCS families and the community are welcome to join us for the parade to celebrate Homecoming Spirit Week and to cheer on the Trojans prior to their football game against Niles at 7 PM. PHS POWDERPUFF: Homecoming Spirit Week continues at PCS! Last night, PHS held their annual Powderpuff Game where the Seniors won 20-18 over the Juniors! It was a great game played by both teams - Go Trojans!

PHS ART CLUB: The PHS Art Club members created Oreo relief sculptures using a toothpick and an Oreo split in half. Sculpting frosting at this scale was challenging, fun and tasty!

PHS GIRLS GOLF: The Plainwell Girls Golf team secured 2nd place in the Wolverine Conference today at the Pineview Golf Course in Three Rivers. Renae Jaeger is the Wolverine Conference Champion and 1st Team All Conference. Ashley McKenney earned 1st Team All Conference and Anessa Jaeger was named Honorable Mention. Today was a strong showing from fellow teammates Avery, Emma and Izzy. Trojan Pride!
