On Halloween, PHS counselors organized a special cider and donut celebration to honor seniors for their achievements in post-secondary planning. Throughout the month of October, seniors had the opportunity to earn tickets as they completed post-secondary planning steps and at the celebration, they were able to turn in their tickets for college-themed items, including pennants, lanyards, water bottles, stickers, sunglasses and other dorm room essentials. Special thanks to our Counselors, the PHS Registrar and Mrs. Phaneuf for your support in making this event a success for our Class of 2026 Trojans!

Last week, the PHS language department took a trip to Lansing to participate in the Michigan World Language (MIWLA) Conference. There, they gathered valuable tools and insights to bring back to their classrooms. During the event, PHS educators Andrew Hansen, Julie Trahan and Sarah Boven proudly represented PCS as presenters, sharing their experiences to support other language departments throughout the state. They discussed strategies for keeping students engaged in the fast-paced environment of language teaching. Their presentation featured clickable activities and lessons that fellow educators could immediately implement to enhance student engagement. It was a fantastic opportunity for these Trojan educators to learn and exchange knowledge at the MIWLA!
