
Congratulations to the Trojan Marching Band on a 2nd place finish at a very chilly Sparta Invitational on Saturday. The TMB earned a 5 point jump from their previous week's score showing great improvement in a short period of time! Their next performance will be this Friday (10/13) at the Homecoming Football game. Then the TMB will return to competition on October 21 at the Jenison Invitational.


It's Homecoming Week! Join us this Friday (10/13) to support PHS and cheer on the Trojans at their 2023 Homecoming Parade beginning at 1:20 PM. Students, staff, PCS families and the community are welcome to join us for the parade to celebrate Homecoming Spirit Week and to cheer on the Trojans prior to their football game against Niles at 7 PM. We will be monitoring the weather and any changes to the parade schedule will be made by 11:00 AM on Friday (10/13).


Attention Trojan fans! Join us tomorrow (Tuesday, October 10) at our Boys Cross Country meet against Otsego! PHS and OHS are currently tied for first place and this meet will break the tie for first and put the team in contention for the WC Conference Championship. The JV Football team lost a well played game last night, 28-36, against Otsego. These pictures of our Cheer team are a great reminder that there is always Plainwell Pride!

IT’S RIVALRY GAME DAY! Join us tonight (10/6) to cheer on the Trojans at their rivalry football game against the Otsego Bulldogs. Game begins at 7 PM at Otsego HS. It is a “Black Out” game, show your support of the Trojans by wearing black (or your favorite Plainwell gear).

Congratulations to the Girls Swim and Dive team who won a close meet with South Haven last night 103-82. Great races for Elizabeth French, Sydney Harper, Addison Williams, Audrey Macqueen, Izzy Stewart, Mckenna Soderquist, Ella Way and the rest of the team. The divers of Lily Inquilla, Liv Perrin and Gabby Northern placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Go Trojans!


The PHS Swim and Dive team had a lot of personal bests at the D-3 invite over the weekend in Holland. Congratulations to Sydney Harper who qualified for State in the 200 IM and the 500 free. Great swims by Heidi Ragainis, Izzy Stewart, Elizabeth French, Audrey Todd, Ella Way, Abbey Unser, Addison Williams, Mckenna Soderquist and the rest of the team! GO TROJANS!


Congratulations to the Trojan Marching Band on a fantastic performance and a 2nd place finish in their debut competitive performance yesterday! The TMB topped Edwardsburg's band by one point, falling a few points short of Lakeshore High School's band at Portage Northern's competition. Next up, the Trojan Band will head to Sparta's competition next Saturday (10/7).


The Varsity Boys Cross Country team ran extremely well today and placed 2nd out 17 teams at the Otsego Invitational. We are very proud of the Trojans -

We’re so proud of our Boys Soccer program! They may have lost a tough battle with Otsego last night, but they have showed a tremendous amount of Trojan spirit this season. Last night during the game, they showed their love and appreciation for our Plainwell educators by honoring them before the game. Also, throughout the season after practice, they have went to support our Volleyball team and Swim & Dive team at their competitions. The PHS Girls Golf team competed in the Wolverine Conference Golf Finals today at Pineview Golf Course in Three Rivers where they finished in 5th place. Freshmen golfer, Ayla Jaeger, shot a 77 for 18 holes to earn medalist (1st place) honors. Congratulations Ayla and the Girls Golf team. Next up, they will compete in the Regional tournament on October 10! Go Trojans!

GO TROJANS! The Freshman Volleyball team is having a great season so far, the team is currently 3-0 in conference play! In addition, the team also finished 1st at the Thornapple-Kellogg Quad and East Kentwood Tri. Next up, they will be taking on the Wildcats at Three Rivers tomorrow (Thursday, September 28) at 5:00 PM. PLAINWELL PRIDE!


Add two more wins to the books for Plainwell's Swim and Dive team. The team took a win last week at Hastings with a score of 95-75 and followed it up with another win tonight against Otsego with a score of 103-83.
Great swims by Sydney Harper, Teighlor Nooney, McKenna Soderquist, Ella Way, Addison Williams and the rest of the team. Our divers Liv Perrin, Lilly Inquilla and Gabby Northern took 2nd, 3rd and 4th!

1. For those that will be joining us to cheer on the Trojans, please note that parking passes need to be purchased at https://www.otsegops.org/athletics/tickets.
2. Please make note that all traffic must be westbound on Washington Street. To allow a more efficient and safer route, eastbound traffic on Washington Street will be closed down.

We are excited to announce that we will be reviving the Plainwell Education Foundation (PEF) and you are invited to join us! The PEF is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded in 1985 to assist PCS in providing excellence in education. The PEF supports all students and staff with teacher grants, student scholarships and other efforts.
