The team hosted Pennfield where the following players brought home a win:

- Number 2 Doubles: Austin Susens and Lincoln Benson
- Number 3 Doubles: Anthony Kolhoff and Brayden Triemstra

Registration is open for the upcoming Rising Stars (formally Sharp Shooters) Basketball League. Join us for a competitive basketball program for 5th-8th grade girls. Basketball experience and advanced basketball skills are necessary, playing time will be based on skill level.
Dates: Practices start the week of September 16. Games will be held on Saturdays from October-December with some travel required. Please note, team organization and practices (days of the week, location and times) will be announced after registration closes.
Cost: $125 (Covers gym rental, game certified MHSAA officials, jerseys)

Tonight, the Girls Varsity Cross Country team continued their hot start to the season with a second place finish at the South Haven Rustbuster Invite. Leading the Trojans with medal winning performances in the varsity race were Claire Vos, Mai Nguyen and Hannah Erlandson.
The JV Girls followed the Varsity team with a second place finish as well. Medal winners for the JV team were: Alison VanDyke, Brooke Carpenter, Audrey Thom, Alexa Salo, Megan VanDyke and Hayden Steele.
Special congratulations goes out to dual sport athlete Hayden Steele for her impressive double medal winning performance today. After finishing in the top 10 at the Lakeview JV Invite, Hayden made it to the South Haven Rustbuster Invite in time to snag a medal in the JV Cross Country race. 👏🏼 PLAINWELL PRIDE!

The PHS Varsity Girls Volleyball team won the silver bracket at the Lakeshore Invitational this weekend. The team had big wins against Caledonia, Grandville, Grand Ledge, Kenowa Hills and Dewitt. Way to go, PHS Volleyball - TROJAN PRIDE! 🏐

On Friday, the PHS Girls Golf team won 4th out of 22 teams at the Thornapple Kellogg Invitational. They finished the day with a team score of 355 with Ayla Jaeger winning 2nd individually with a score of 75. Also counting towards the team score were Emma Rayman (90), Harper Johnson (94) and Anessa Jaeger (96). Way to go PHS Golf team! ⛳️

Last night, the PHS Girls Cross Country team ran outstanding at the Grand Rapids South Christian Under the Lights race. In their race, with many Division 1 schools, the Trojans pulled off a Top 10 team finish. Helping lead the team were medal winners Josie Longcore, Mai Nguyen and Claire Vos. Way to go Trojans! 👏🏼

All community senior citizens and retirees are invited to join us for a free and fun Lifelong Learners event to meet the new program directors: Andrea (PCS) and Renee (OPS). Join us for a Cookout in the Park on Thursday, September 19 beginning at 12:00 PM. The event will take place at Thurl Cook Park in the picnic table area (near the pickleball courts and dog park). Please bring a dish to pass and enjoy an afternoon cookout, followed by a pickleball demonstration. Hot dogs, beverages & tableware will be provided.
