PCS UPDATE: The power at PCS is currently being repaired and is estimated to be completed in two hours. An update will be shared with our families once the repair is complete.

PLAINWELL SUMMER OUTINGS: Students in grades 3- 8 are invited to join us for a summer of fun while attending Plainwell Summer Outings with weekly adventures from June 22- August 4. There are two exciting programs (Wednesday or Thursday) to choose from with seven fun summer outings each. The cost is $174 per person/per program. CLASS OF 2026 CHAMPIONS PROGRAM: Attention all incoming Freshman - the Class of 2026! Join us for the Champions Program, which is a fun and educational two-week program for incoming freshman students to experience the ins and outs of Plainwell High School and to gain a solid academic base to start the year. MUSICAL REVUE 2022: Mark your calendar as the Plainwell High School Choirs' Present Musical Revue 2022: A Tribute to Stephen Sondheim on Wednesday, June 1 at 7 PM. Join us for a free concert featuring music and lyrics written by Stephen Sondheim from Broadway musicals such as "Into The Woods," "West Side Story," "Sweeny Todd" and more!


HOLOCAUST PRESENTATION: Last week, 8th through 12th grade students had a special presentation from Irene Miller, a Holocaust survivor and author of Into No Man's Land: A Historical Memoir. Ms. Miller shared her journey of survival during the Holocaust and how the experience allowed her to grow into a successful and positive woman. She emphasized the importance of speaking up when there is injustice and demonstrated to students that obstacles big and small can be overcome. A very special thank you to Ms. Miller for joining us at PCS to share your story with our students.

BOND CONSTRUCTION: The preschool and first grade students had a lot of fun watching the concrete being poured by Starr Elementary where they are putting in a new chiller as part of the bond construction project. Our continued thanks to our amazing community for voting “yes” on the 2019 bond proposal!

CHOIR FESTIVAL: Congratulations to the Plainwell Middle School 8th grade choir and honors choir for their outstanding performance at Festival today! They have worked hard rehearsing and today they traveled to Holland where they performed in the State Choir Festival. Way to go, Trojans - Plainwell Pride!


6TH GRADE BAND: The 6th grade band had an outstanding performance at their Spring Concert last night! It has been so exciting to see the progress the students have made throughout the school year - way to go, Trojans!
