
Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team for their impressive win against Vicksburg last night! The 7th and 8th grade Trojans showcased great teamwork during their first home matches, both displaying outstanding Plainwell Pride! 🏐


We are excited to share that registration is open for our upcoming Spikers Volleyball program for 3rd-6th graders. The goal of Spikers is to experience the sport, understand the rules and have fun! The program will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from October 21-December 6. Practice times will be as follows:
🏐 3rd & 4th Grade Practice: 6:00-7:00 PM at Starr
🏐 5th & 6th Grade Practice: 7:00-8:00 PM at Plainwell Middle School

Registration is open for the upcoming Rising Stars (formally Sharp Shooters) Basketball League. Join us for a competitive basketball program for 5th-8th grade girls. Basketball experience and advanced basketball skills are necessary, playing time will be based on skill level.
🗓️ Dates: Practices start the week of September 15. Games will be held on Saturdays from October-December with some travel required. Please note, team organization and practices (days of the week, location and times) will be announced after registration closes.
💲Cost: $125 (Covers gym rental, game certified MHSAA officials, jerseys).

Shoutout to PHS Senior, Autumn Gravelyn, who earned her 2000th career assist tonight during the Trojans' victory over Hastings in three sets (25-8, 25-16, 25-8). Autumn is a senior captain and a 4 year varsity starter, whose leadership shines on off the court! PHS Varsity Coach Megan Black remarks, “Autumn truly runs the floor as our setter and is a key component to our team success.” Congratulations to Autumn and the Trojans on their success tonight at their first match at the new Field House - TROJAN PRIDE!


🗓️ TROJAN FOOD FEST DATE CHANGE! 🗓️ Due to the high chance of rain this evening, the Junior Class Trojan Food Fest is postponed until next Wednesday, September 10. The event will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM in the parking lot next to Streidl Field and will include food trucks, yard games/PHS-themed games, an obstacle course and a silent auction!

The Varsity Football team kicked off their season with a 21-7 WIN over Allegan tonight! The stands were filled with Plainwell Pride as we hosted the first football game of the season at Streidl Field, showcasing the new turf and the upgraded scoreboard! 💙🏈 GO TROJANS! 🏈💙

What a night for Trojan soccer in their home opener and first game on the new turf! Both JV and Varsity came out strong and rolled to 8-0 wins over Hastings.
⚽ JV played strong with goals from Izik (3), Marvin, Gibson, Milan, Elvin and Isaiah. Assists came from Corben (2), Carlos, Elvin and Spencer.
💪 Varsity kept the momentum going with Nate scoring 5, plus goals from Kegan, Salim and Trenton. Assists came from Kegan (4), Braeden, Nate and Gavyn.
Proud of both teams for making history on our field and showing what Trojan soccer is all about. Big wins, big statements and a special way to open up our newly updated Streidl Field. GO TROJANS! 💙⚽

On Wednesday, September 3, the Class of 2027 will be hosting a Trojan Food Fest in the junior parking lot at PHS from 5:00-8:00 PM! Join us to enjoy food trucks, yard games/PHS-themed games, an obstacle course and a silent auction! A breakdown of wristband pricing is included in this post (cash only). All proceeds will go to the Class of 2027 for prom this spring. We hope to see you there!

📣 GAME DAY: On Friday, September 26, beginning at 6:00 PM, participants will cheer with the team during the first quarter of the home football game.

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Golf team who took 1st place today at the Greater Kalamazoo Invitational with a team score of 357. Three players placed in the top 10 with Ayla Jaeger placing first (80), Harper Johnson in 5th (88) and Emma Rayman 6th (91). Plainwell’s 2nd team placed 6th among the 10 teams playing today. Congratulations Trojans!
